Change Bandits
Change Bandits is a fun and easy campaign to raise funds for Children’s. Volunteers "hold up" coworkers, friends, neighbours, family and customers – virtually and in person. Donations collected are used to buy much needed equipment for the Hospital. For more information on how you can participate, visit www.changebandits.ca, call 519-432-8062 ext 122 or email us.
Radiothon
In April, Astral Media Radio opens up the airwaves on 97.5 EZ ROCK, BX93, AM 1410 and NewsTalk 1290 for families to share their emotion-filled stories with the listeners. The annual event has raised over $3.2 million for Children’s.
The 10th Annual Radiothon will be held on one day only, April 30th, 2009, from 6am to 6pm. Tune in and give!
Community Events
Supporters throughout the communities served by Children’s Hospital hold fundraisers to benefit Children’s. All across the region, people are:
- Hitting the bowling lanes for some family fun
- Running to the beach
- Taking a leisurely motorcycle ride through the countryside
- Sweating through a workout of jazz dance, Pilates and kickboxing
