General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada dedicated to Children’s Health
In May 2010, Ken Yamashita, Manager of Corporate Affairs, and Dale Gillet, Industrial Participation Manager at General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada received a plaque from Children’s Health Foundation in appreciation for their company’s generous donation of $25,000 to help build the new
Children’s Hospital.
- In recognition of this support from General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada, the company will name an Examination Room in the Ambulatory Care area in the new hospital.
- In addition, they will enable the creation of a mural depicting a collage of everyday heroes who assist children, such as doctors, nurses, fire fighters, police officers, and military doctors.
- The new Children’s Hospital and Grace Donnelly Women’s Health Pavilion is scheduled to open in the spring of 2011.
