Tuesday, September 27th, 2011 marked the official grand opening of the New Children's Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre.
The honour of cutting the ribbon went to six year old Travis Cudney, a former patient of Children’s with the help of Bonnie Adamson, President and CEO London Health Sciences Centre and Michael Lerner, Chair of Children’s Health Foundation Board of Directors.
Travis was also joined by Peter Johnson, Chair of the London Health Sciences Centre Board of Directors; Donor Terrance Donnelly and Kirk Baines, Chair of the London Health Sciences Foundation Board of Directors.
It was truly a memorable and touching day. Take a look at a short video of some of the special moments and new spaces for children and their families.
